WASH

Wash cold or cool. Gentle machine wash or hand wash. Use a mild, preferably natural detergent. Do not bleach. Avoid fabric softener

CARING FOR YOUR FOREWAY

Natural fabrics are at their best when cared for simply. Your Foreway garment is designed to be worn and lived in.

Care for it thoughtfully and it will continue to feel good against your skin and perform as intended.

DRY

Air dry, preferably out of direct, harsh sunlight. Do not tumble dry

FINISH

Iron on low-medium heat if needed. Wash inside out where practical, particularly for darker colours. Do not dry clean

Natural fibres, chosen with intention.

We choose fabrics for more than how they look. We consider how they feel against the skin, how they move with the body, and the natural properties they bring to the garment. From hemp and cotton to carefully considered blends, each material offers something different. Our aim is to make clothing that feels good to wear, works with the body and reflects a more thoughtful approach to sportswear.

Soft, breathable and naturally comfortable.

Cotton is naturally soft, breathable and comfortable against the skin, making it particularly suited to garments designed for movement and frequent wear. It also contributes to comfortable temperature management during movement, one of the qualities that inspired Foreway's founders to explore natural fabrics for golf and sporting apparel. Where suitable local sourcing allows, we choose organic cotton. Where it isn't available, we select premium-grade cotton instead.

Naturally breathable. Naturally moisture-wicking.

Hemp brings a distinctive combination of durability, breathability and natural moisture management to our garments. It’s fibres are naturally absorbent and can help move moisture away from the immediate surface of the skin and into the fabric, where it can disperse through the fabric and evaporate. Hemp fabrics also allow air and moisture vapour to move through it, creating a lighter, more comfortable feel against the skin.

We choose natural fabric that we source locally in South Africa, including hemp and organic cotton. Where organic cotton isn't available locally, we select premium-grade cotton instead.

Summer Play features lighter, cotton-forward fabrics with a lighter feel against the skin. All-Season Play uses slightly heavier hemp-cotton blends, offering a more substantial feel inspired by traditional golf apparel. Both are designed to be worn throughout the year, although availability depends on the product.
Our size guide provides measurements to help you find your fit. We recommend comparing the measurements with your own before ordering. As each garment has its own cut and silhouette, please refer to the size guide relevant to your chosen product.
Wash your garments in cool water using a gentle machine or hand wash and a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, and air-dry away from harsh direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry or dry clean. If ironing is needed, use a low-to-medium setting. Washing garments inside out is particularly helpful for darker colours.
